Gemma and her sister couldnt be more friendly or accommodating. Just the right amount of helpful, friendly, you get the feeling she really cares. No hard sell, no rules and regulations about no photos of dresses, unlike some others we visited. Was a real pleasure. After 3 dress shops we bought from Gemma. Other shops could take a leaf out of her book. Shes fabulous,! Xxi

Very polite, and extremely helpful. I am normally very indecisive but the staff, really took their time and knew what style I would have liked off just a few dresses with a varied range of styles, colours and lengths and made me feel really comfortable as I’m a bit awkward and insecure; their environment was really welcoming it’s a 10/10 easily, I really recommend.

I came to Pressed, Prom & Bridal after failing to find a prom dress on the high street. The ladies are incredibly welcoming and the shop is crammed with dresses. They will only sell one of any dress for any event, but we found a stunning one despite being quite late (Feb) in looking. Typically for 2022, the dress remained in transit indefinitely, and I can't fault the effort that went into trying to get it, nor the efforts on backup options and the way my daughter's prom experience was put firmly before PPB's time and profit. They got her to prom in an altered display version of the dress she had chosen and she looked stunning. 10/10 for customer service as well as choice.

Katie and Gemma are amazing, extremely knowledgeable and very patient. My daughter has come here for her prom dress and must have tried 10 dresses easily. They made aware from the beginning that they will only let 1 school have a specific style and only 1. They don't tell other students who has picked what dress, colour and who chose it... amazing from start to finish x

I would highly recommend pressed prom and bridal to anyone looking for a stunning prom dress. From our very first visit my daughter was made to feel so special, we received a very warm welcome with such superb and friendly customer service. After choosing her dress, the after sales service was second to none, even offering to waiver alteration fees when COVID hit. I will definitely be choosing pressed prom and bridal again for my younger daughter and would encourage anyone local to the Durham area to support this fantastic small business during these very challenging time. Bought my daughter's prom dress from this shop. Great selection of styles, colours and prices. Staff are lovely and patient too. They offer an alterations service too for a fixed price. Opening hours are convenient and it is easy to get parked on the nearby side streets. Would highly recommend this shop.

I had my wedding dress alteration done at Pressed, Prom and Bridal. They were very inviting and welcoming from start to finish. I didn't get the unwelcoming feeling that I'd experienced in other bridal shops. The staff were very helpful when it came to fitting and accessorising, without the sales push. They made me feel a lot less anxious about the dress, and their work on the dress was very professional. The value for money was exceptional.
